Rooted in story, shaped by place.

Meet Lander

Art, history and the perfect outfit for a meaningful story.

An English major and self-proclaimed typography nerd, Lander believes the things we choose to surround ourselves with should carry a sense of care and character.

After a career supporting others in special education, senior living and children’s services, an unexpected chapter became the beginning of Melander Taylor Composes. Today, Lander brings together hand-poured candles, botanical gifts, artful paper goods and meaningful creative gatherings.

To compose is to thoughtfully arrange, layer and create something meaningful. That idea lives in every piece.
